Court issues non-bailable arrest warrants for Farooq Sattar

KARACHI: An Anti-Terrorism Court of Karachi has once again issued non-bailable warrants for the arrest of MQM founder Altaf Hussain, MQM Pakistan Chief Dr Farooq Sattar and other party leaders in hate speech case.

The court was hearing 28 identical cases of hate speech here Saturday.

The police informed the ATC that MQM founder, through his speech against national security, tried to affect operation Zarb-e-Azb and Karachi operation.

Over this the court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Altaf Hussain, Farooq Sattar, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Rehan Hashmi and others and ordered to present them on November 12.

The court also issued arrest warrants for Inspector Abdul Wasay Jokhio and Sub Inspector Asghar Sarhandi for not submitting police file in two cases. SSP of the area was ordered for arrest of his two subordinates and present them before the court.
