PM should fulfill promise regarding CPEC: Asfandyar Wali

NOWSHERA: Chief of the Awami National Party Asfandyar Wali Khan urged PM Nawaz Sharif to fulfill the promise he had made regarding the CPEC project.

Addressing a public rally at the city's Manki Sharif area, Asfandyar Wali Khan warned the federal government that ANP would not take part in any briefings related to the China-Pakistan Economic Project. He further said that the Prime Minister would have to talk to the ANP regarding the CPEC project.

"When ANP protested on the issue of CPEC, all of a sudden the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also started protesting," he said.

Slamming the CM of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Asfandyar Wali said that Pervez Khattak had changed so many political parties that no similar example could be found anywhere else. He said that whether or not Pervez Khattak would be with PTI chief Imran Khan in the next general elections, also remains to be seen.

A couple of days ago, KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak had made headlines when he said that if the western route was not declared a part of the CPEC and all facilities were not provided to it, no road pertaining to the CPEC project would be allowed to pass through the province.
