Pak Army wins gold in international contest

The Pakistan Army has won a gold medal for the third time in an annual international military patrolling event called Exercise Cambrian Patrol held in the United Kingdom.

Pakistan army teams previously won the gold medals in 2010 and 2015 in the contest where leadership, self-discipline, courage, physical endurance and determination and other skills of the participants are tested.

According to local media reports, the 59 Punjab from 37th Division / 1 Corps represented Pakistan Army in Cambrian Petrol this year.


“And top marks again for Pakistan. Year after year they deliver a polished performance. Another hard-earned gold medal,” tweeted the British Army in Wales.
