NA speaker accepts Hashmi’s resignation
ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq has accepted the resignation of Javed Hashmi and sent it to the Election Commission of Pakistan.
Hashmi who submitted his resignation along with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MNAs had announced on the floor of Parliament on Tuesday that he was resigning.
Hashmi the elected PTI president was dismissed by Imran Khan after he disclosed startling revelations about the PTI chairman and the protests in Islamabad.
