PM Nawaz, Nisar, Altaf condemn Kumaili’s killing
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain condemned the killing of Ali Akbar Kumaili, son of Allama Abbas Kumaili.
According to a statement issued here, PM Nawaz Sharif strongly condemned the killing of Ali Akbar Kumaili, urging the nation to get united against the terrorists.
On the other hand, MQM supremo Altaf Hussain termed the killing of Ali Akbar Kumaili a big tragedy and asked the government as to “why the terrorists are roaming freely, are the banned sectarian terrorists’ organizations stronger than the state?”
He said that people of Karachi were left at the mercy of terrorists and alleged that no action was being taken against the terrorists of banned sectarian organizations.
Following the incident, Jaffaria Alliance announced to observe 3-day mourning and demanded of the government to immediately arrest the culprits.
