Won’t rest till flood affectees provided relief: Shahbaz Sharif

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif Sunday said the government will not be at ease until problems of the flood-stricken people stand resolved.

Talking to media persons after visiting the flood-hit areas of Tehsil Zafarwall in Narowall, Shahbaz Sharif said the Punjab government was always ready to deal with the natural calamities.

During the visit, he took stock of the havoc wreaked by the floods and also met the affectees.

Shahbaz Sharif directed the district administration to accelerate the pace of relief efforts so that the people who were displaced by the floods could return to their homes.

The CM Punjab also distributed food supplies among the affectees at a relief camp in Zafarwall.
