Zarb-e-Azb: Aerial raids kill 10 terrorists, destroy arms cache

 

MIRANSHAH: Ten more terrorists were killed in aerial blitz carried out by Pakistan Air Force (PAF) gunship helicopters in North Waziristan Agency (NWA) as part of the ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the air raids targeted terrorists hideouts in Degaan area of NWA. Besides, killing ten terrorists, the bombardment also destroyed their cache of arms and ammunition.

Five vehicles of the militants were also demolished in the latest military offensive.

Operation Zarb-e-Azb was launched on June 15 after the peace talks between the government and the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) fizzled out.

According to ISPR, more than 900 terrorists have so far been killed since the launch of full-scale military operation against the outlaws in the militancy infested tribal region.
