Imran calls for creation of a welfare state
By Amir Jalil Bobra

ISLAMABAD: A nation without vision dies and it is high time for the nation to stand up with the vision to make Pakistan a welfare state where there is justice, honesty and equality, Imran Khan said on Tuesday.
Speaking atop from his container Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) claimed that “he stands the sole politician not nurtured by army” while reiterating that he never accepted defeat and just had a firm belief on struggle for achieving the goal. “I am really obliged by the people of Pakistan who never left me alone” despite the fact 27 days passed to this protest initiated against the massive rigging observed during last general elections of May 2013 and “I am also determined to stand with the people standing for their rights” Imran Khan maintained.
Exposing the poll rigging and match fixing of last general elections Khan said in Bhakkar, Majeed Khan a candidate of PML-N bagged 98,000 votes and his opponent received 92,000 votes but after a delay of 40 hours in result announcement about 13,000 votes were rejected and interestingly 23 presiding officers deputed in the same constituency went missing and the PML-N candidate was declared as winner. The nation has to come out for the “resignation of incumbent premier” as he is sitting on the top of a rigged mandate while pre-planned scheming and match fixing to snatch the right of vote from masses Imran Khan added.
The lap top and “sasti rooti” schemes launched by the Punjab government dented the national kitty of billions and proved the failure of the rulers, lack of vision Imran Khan said. He also alleged that Lap tops were purchased at high cost as compared to the then market price of the commodity.” Lap tops were purchased at Rs: 38,000 while in the market the same lap top was available at only Rs:20,000,” Khan deplored.
The rulers are responsible for the disaster people facing due to deadly floods as they are just making lame excuses to avoid the wrath of masses but in fact they never bothered to construct small dams and never heeded to make adequate arrangements to store the valuable water quantity that is playing havoc Khan added.
