Two MNAs, cop behind Tahira, Hendry murders: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Thursday alleged that two members of National Assembly and a policeman conspired in the murder plots of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) MNA Tahira Asif and National Party’s MPA Hendry Masih.

“I would expose the names of the three men behind the murder conspirators on Saturday,” Imran Khan noted while addressing the participants of his party’s prolonged sit-in in Islamabad.

He said Tahira Asif and Hendry Masih were waging a struggle for the rights of Christian community.

He said Tahira Asif and Hendry Masih were raising voice against the illegal occupation of land belonging to Christian community.

Imran Khan also alleged that the members of Parliament do not reveal one another’s fraud under an illicit understanding.

“Aitzaz Ahsan and Chaudhry Nisar accused each other of stealing public’s money but the very next day Chaudhry Nisar said he had chosen to remain silent in order to save democracy,” he noted.

He regretted that no resignation was tendered following the killings of innocent people in Lahore’s Model Town.

The PTI chief repeated his demand that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should step down for a period during which the allegations of rigging are investigated. “Why Nawaz Sharif appears so scared. Why can’t he stay away from his office only for a month,” he questioned.
