Pervez Rashid rules out ‘Azadi/Revolution’ by ‘2000’ people

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information, Senator Pervez Rashid Sunday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader no longer gives deadlines and that only 2000 people can neither get ‘Azadi’ (independence) nor bring about a ‘revolution’.

In a statement, Pervez Rashid said every day Imran Khan tells lies in his speech to his party’s sit-in and later leaves for his home in Bani Gala. “The next day he (Imran) doesn’t even bother to produce evidence to prove his allegations,” he added.

He said Pakistan Muslim League-Q leader Pervez Elahi complains as to why media fails to report that workers of his party were taken into police custody. “This is because the workers of PML-Q are brought out on a promise to be paid.”

The Information Minsiter said the PML-Q workers must have struck a better deal with PTI and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and consequently ended up joining these parties.
