DJ Butt released from Adiala Jail

RAWALPINDI: DJ Butt, the man responsible for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s (PTI) music and sound was released from Adiala Jail on Sunday.

Speaking to mediamen after his release, Butt said he was not mistreated in the jail.

DJ Butt was nominated in the FIR lodged with the Secretariat Police Station in the Parliament House attack case.

The police arrested Asif Nazar Butt son of Nazar Hussain, popularly known as DJ Butt from G-6/4 when he was going for dinner with his friends.

Earlier, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Anwar Kasi had ordered the release of people booked for violating section 144.

Nearly 650 people, including workers of protesting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) were detained for violating section 144 and pillion riding ban over the past three days.
