Country heading towards civil war: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Monday appealed from Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Nasirul Mulk to save the country from anarchy as its heading towards civil war.

Imran Khan was addressing the participants of the sit-in today and said that the country is moving towards civil war and warned that a bloody revolution would take place in case of hindering the peaceful protest.

He urged the CJ Supreme Court to order the implementation of the Islamabad High Court. He said 30,000 policemen have been deployed at the site and alleged that as soon as the sit-in concludes every night, the policemen starts detaining innocent people, snatch their wallets and mobile phones. He further said that 40 PTI supporters were arrested last night.

He warned that he would remove the containers himself and in case police stopped the protesters, it would result in clashes.

Imran Khan also announced to hold the country’s historic gathering at D-Chowk on Friday.
