Asfandyar Wali asks PM to convene joint sitting of parliament

PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali Khan on Tuesday demanded of the Prime Minister to convene a joint session of the Parliament against the backdrop of prevailing charged political atmosphere in the country.

In a statement issued here, the ANP chief said corruption and terrorism are two different issues and that the political leadership and parties must not be vilified in the name of terrorism.

He, however, added that ANP is against corruption and terrorism.
