Govt will come to power again: Nawaz

LAHORE: Brushing aside claims and repeated predictions by certain opposition leaders, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Friday said the incumbent government would not only complete its five year term but would also come to power again after 2018 polls due to its development agenda.

Addressing a rally in Kala Shah Kaku, he said a couple of so called leaders had been predicting the fall of the present government and trying to launch movement against it.

He criticized Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed at the rally, without mentioning his name, adding that the a politician from Pindi picks up fortune cards like a parrot on television channels.

“Good willing you won’t become Member of assembly next time.

He said load shedding will decrease next year and would end in 2018. He expressed the hope that unemployment would end if the pace of progress continues.

“We don’t do politics of power, we do politics of values,” he said. The Prime Minister performed groundbreaking of the Eastern Bypass in Kala Shah Kaku.
