Gen Raheel, Imran have brief encounter in Mardan
MARDAN: Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan discussed prevailing situation of the country at a brief encounter here on Friday as they visited the city following a deadly bombing that killed over a dozen people at a court.
The meeting that lasted for few minutes took place when Imran Khan arrived at the airbase as General Sharif was preparing to leave after visiting Mardan.
Earlier, the army chief met the victims of the blast at the Mardan Medical Complex where they had been brought for treatment.
The COAS was flanked by Corps Commander Peshawar.
