Computerised record to help prevent corruption: DC

NAUSHAHARO FEROZE: Sindh government was computerising revenue record to facilitate farmers and proprietors and for discouraging corruption and forgery, said Deputy Commissioner Dr Washim Ali.

During visit of Sindh Board of Revenue on Friday, the DC said computerisation of the revenue record would not only help preventing corruption and forgery beside but land owners would have easy access to revenue record. On the occasion, District Manager Bashir Ahmed Abbasi apprised the deputy commissioner that land owner could see their land record on website as well as at facility center of revenue department.

He further informed that that maps of all dehs and tehsils (revenue administrative units) were present on the web and the land owner could get form 7-A, B and village form II after fulfilling the formalities. Facility Center has a link with NADRA and revenue documents was being issued on papers with security features.
