Raiwind March on 30th: Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has announced 30th September for ‘Raiwind March’ and asked all PTI workers to reach their as Raiwind is not personal property of anyone.
He said preparations of Raiwind March will be started from 24th. Imran advised PTI workers to reach Raiwind in from of groups and should keep a lawyer with them.
PTI chief said constitution of the country permits peaceful protest to the citizens of country. He said if PTI workers were tortured then reaction will come and protests will be carried out in whole of Punjab.
Imran said he will personally participate in protests outside the police stations. He said if any PTI worker was harmed Sharif brothers and Punjab police will be held responsible for it. The government will be responsible for the unrest, he warned.
He said if we will not stand for our rights today then we will become slaves. He said biggest gathering of the country of Pakistan will be held on 30th September in Raiwind.
While addressing the workers convention in Islamabad Imran Khan said he has no hope of justice from the Election Commission while seeing the previous record of the commission.
He alleged that Nawaz Sharif established companies abroad in 1992 and 1993 in the name of his children and transferred billions of rupees abroad illegally.
Why NAB did not issue notice to Nawaz Sharif after the Panama revelations, he questioned.
He said after establishment of NAB the corruption has increased in the country. ‘Corruption of 12 billion rupees is being committed daily in country.’
Imran said that one way in front of us is to remain silence over the circumstances in country.
He mocked PM Nawaz saying whenever we try to question the prime minister over corruption, he cuts ribbon of the same Motorway twice. He added that the PM thinks of us as fools. He said that his party would make important decisions for Pakistan.
The PTI chairman said that all the options for investigation over Panama Leaks have been exhausted adding that the party is being blackmailed to remain silent.
