Book-Launching Ceremony on July 15

Assalam Ailekum America, a book by Tasneem Sana Khan, a well-known LA literary figure who writes a regular column in Urdu Link, will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 7.30 PM at the Village Restaurant, 1871 W Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92802( Phone 714-635-7770)
The inauguration ceremony will be preceded by dinner which will be served between 7:30 P.M to 8:30 PM.
A large numbers of writers and poets are expected to attend the ceremony, including Mr Qamar Ali Abbasi, a well-known writer from New York; poet Hasan Chishti from Chicago, TV artist and writer Nelofar Abbasi, and leading poets from Los Angeles. A mushaira will be held after the inaugural ceremony.
