Muslims Pray for Relief from Raging Fires

Anaheim: In response to and in consultation with the area leadership, the Chairman of the Shura Council, Dr. Muzammil Siddiqi, called for a special prayer to seek relief from the raging fires and for rain to end the drought. The prayer was held at the Islamic Society of Orange County from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Thursday October 25.
All area Khateebs were also requested to dedicate their Friday (Oct 26th) sermons for the same purpose.
Community members were also requested to take time to visit and offer moral support to the fire fighters at a Fire Station closest to them.
“We pray for relief to those who are affected by the fire and we urge everyone to keep all people in your prayers,” said a Shura Council Press Release.
