Mrs. Sameen Sayed Passes Away

 

Lahore : Mrs. Sameen Sayed, 83, who was an activist in the Pakistan Movement, passed away in her family home at Muslim Town, Lahore.  She hailed from a distinguished old family of Lahore and was the wife of Col. (Retd.) Amjad Hussain Sayed – a renowned veteran of the Pakistan struggle and a recipient of the Gold Medal from the Prime Minister of Pakistan in 1997 for his services. 

Mrs. Sameen Sayed leaves behind four surviving children – Mujahid Hussain Syed, Mowahid Shah, Mushahid Hussain Sayed, and Tahseen Sayed.  Her daughter, Tazeen Sayed, passed away in 1996.  She was a loving grandmother to her seven grandchildren. 

 Mrs. Sameen Sayed was noted for her considerate and caring disposition and she will be much missed and mourned by her many admirers. 

May her soul rest in peace. Ameen.
