An October 9, 2017 Islamic Shura Council of Southern California announcement reads: With the wildfire burning in eastern Orange County, we are concerned and pray for the safety of all residents, their property and loved ones. We ask the community to keep all affected in your prayers.
We request that the local Orange County based Masajid to open their centers as emergency evacuation centers for those affected by the fires. If your center accepts evacuees, please let us know so we can report to the community.
May Allah give those affected patience and ease.
