DOGANA Retreat Raises Awareness and Funds for OBAT

OBAT Helpers has expressed gratitude “to have had a positive and dynamic ‘Brunch for a Cause’ on April 1 during the DOGANA (DOW Graduates Association of North America) Retreat 2018 in Los Angeles, California.”
An e-mail stated: A sincere thank you to each one of our friends, old and new, for joining us and for being willing to spread the word about the forgotten displaced Urdu-speaking community and Rohingya refugees.
A special thank you to DrNaushabaNaz Butt, for her hard work and dedication in pulling off the brunch, and DrAamir Jamal for his support and involvement in the event. Thank you to all those who spoke on behalf of the people OBAT serves, including Zachary Rockwood, DrQutub Khan, Dr Zia Moiz, Dr Salman Naqvi, and Timothy Todd Shea. Your presence and your continuing voice for the forgotten issues is commendable. Thank you for your passion and your humanitarian ways.
It was an honor to have the presence of Mr Ashraf Ali and his wife, who are the parents of Anam Ali, our chief medical lead of OBAT medical programs in the Rohingya refugee camps.
We were honored by the presence of DrNaseemShekhani, APPNA president-elect 201, and DrSohail Khan, APPNA Secretary, at the brunch. Thanks to DrLubnaNaeem, APPNA Treasurer, for her support as well.
Congratulations to all team members for a successful DOGANA weekend, for the initiation of this event by the DOGANA Disaster Relief Committee, and for the support of APPNA leadership as well. OBAT is looking forward to growing our platforms together.
