National Peace Ambassador Award for Council of Pakistan President

A ‘Los Angeles Peace Summit’ was recently organized by the Honorary Consul General of Senegal Mame Toucouleur Mbaye and the Ambassador of Dignity and Peace Rev. Carolyn Wilkins. The mission statement of the Global Prosperity and Peace Initiate (GPPI) is to “Increase the love, prosperity and peace in earth”. The event was held at the Los Angeles City Hall, Office of Mayor Eric Garcetti.
GPPI believes that there is a growing consciousness world-wide and a belief in the hearts of humanity that increased love, prosperity and peace are possible.
The event was attended by Consul Generals of Turkey, South Africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Sierra Leone, Japan, Belize and many other countries. Leaders of the community from diverse backgrounds attended the event.
The honorees from diverse backgrounds were recognized and given the “Ambassadors of Peace Award”.
Senator Diane Watson, an educator, state legislator and US ambassador, received the “National Peace Ambassador Award.”
Council of Pakistan President Dr Imran Sharief also received the “National Peace Ambassador Award”. Dr Sharief was joined by Board Directors of Council of Pakistan to receive the honor.
The recipients included Tunde Asetunji, Dr Armajit Marvah, Dr Earnestine Robertson, Brenda Marie Eager, Patti Henley, Isatu N. Timbo, Candice Carnicelli, Eisha Mason, Deidre Jackson, Pasadena Ad Hoc Committee for Sister cities, Senait Admassu, Osa Otasowie, Germaine Zimet, Kennedy Zimet.
A performance by the Soul Sisters was one of the highlights of the ceremony.
