Saturday, August 3, at 6: p.m. "The Virtues of the First Ten days of Dhul-Hijjah"
The Holy Prophet (s) said, "There is no deed that is better in the sight of Allah or more greatly rewarded than a good deed done in the (first) ten days of Al-Adha......better even the Jihad..." Al-Bukhari
Alhamdo-lillah, the month of Dhil-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic Calendar shall start on Friday, August 2, 2019. We shall listen to an illuminating talk of about half an hour, reminding ourselves how best to spend our time, and especially these ten blessed days of DhilHijjah. The day of the Arafah, (the Day of the Hajj) shall, Inshallah, be on Sat, August 10.
Eid-Al-Adha: Sunday, August 11, 2019 (Inshallah)
The prayers as usual shall be held at the MEHRAN Restaurant hall, 3841,Railroad Ave., Pittsburg, Ca 94565:
The time for arrival, preparation and speech etc., is between 8:30-9:30 a.m. and the Jamaat for prayers shall be strictly at 9:30 a.m.
Khutba, and Dua shall be immediately after the prayers.
All brothers/sisters are requested to please be on time, and if possible, to bring with them an extra prayer rug or sheet to accommodate fellow brothers and sisters. The Center shall bring whatever it has.
The Saturday, August 3 Function is also a Get-together & goodwill occasion, and it shall include a pot-luck dinner as well. All are requested to please attend.
