You are cordially invited to a special event on Sunday, September 15th, to celebrate our newest US Citizens, says a SAN message. It adds:
Every year, the South Asian Network assists legal permanent residents naturalize and achieve their dream of American Citizenship. Our annual celebration is an opportunity to recognize and congratulate these individuals for reaching this important milestone, reinforce our collective commitment to celebrating and empowering our immigrant community, and raising support so we can continue to expand our Citizenship work, and help even more immigrants secure their US Citizenship.
Citizenship has been a hard-won right for our community. Let's celebrate!
