He is a connoisseur of South Asian film music, using art and culture in building bridges between people and boundaries. He has staged and directed successful concerts of performing arts and is a featured contributor to several publications. Siraj has traveled to 70+ countries and has earlier served as President for PAGB in 2002-2004.

Announcing the election results on behalf of the PAGB Election Commission 2020, Parwez Wahid stated:

… The PAGB was launched in 1990 and is now entering its fourth decade.  Over these past thirty years the Association has done well to organize the social and cultural life of the Pakistani diaspora residing in the greater Boston communities.

The current state-of-emergency put restrictions on public gatherings which is a major function of the PAGB. This presents some immediate challenges on how to proceed in the months ahead until these restrictions are eased.  The Director of Public Relations, Mr. Tahir Ali, has offered use of his Zoom account by which Board meetings can be conducted.

Both the President, Siraj Khan and the PR Director, Tahir Ali, are past officers of the PAGB.  Tahir served in the early 1990s in the same capacity, Siraj was president from 2002-2004. Both have been active community members of the Pakistani and Muslim community of Massachusetts.
I personally take this opportunity to thank you for the commitment to serve on the Pakistan Association of Greater Boston and look forward to the next two years ahead.
