Sister Rafeeq Hashmatullah Passes away

 

The Muslim community of San Gabriel Valley in Southern California is mourning the sad demise of a senior respected community member Sister Rafeeq Hashmatullah who peacefully passed away on September 13, 2020.Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon

  May Allah rest her departed soul in eternal peace in Jannat-ul-Firdaus and give her entire family fortitude and courage to bear the monumental loss. My heartfelt condolences and sincere prayers are with her family during this most difficult time in their life. 

Sister Rafeeq Hashmatullah was the loving mother of Dr Shahida Siddiqui, Sajida Zahir, Hussain Shawkatullah, Sayeeda Saleem and mother-in-law of the late Vaseem Siddiqui.

Due to the stringent requirements of the coronavirus pandemic the funeral prayer and burial service of Sister Rafeeq Hashmatullah was restricted to her immediate family members. Wearing masks and social distancing were strictly enforced. She was laid to rest on September 14, 2020 in the Westminster Memorial Park, Westminster, CA.

All members of the Muslim community living in the US, and especially in Southern California, are requested to kindly make a sincere dua for the Magfirah of Sister Rafeeq Hashmatullah. May Allah accept your sincere duas. May Allah Almighty bless you all.
