Community Remembers Imam Ayman Abdul-Mujeeb
The Islamic Shura Council of Southern California joins the community in remembering one of the pioneers of the Southern California Muslim Community, says an email message. It adds:
IslahLa recently featured a small remembrance of Imam Ayman. We ask that Allah grants Imam Ayman the highest level of Jannah, Ameen!
Imam Ayman was a pioneer and pillar of our community. His brilliance was clear ever since he first became a part of the Muslim community in 1973, establishing several businesses including the famous fish crew with Abdur-Rahim Muhammad and Imam Saadiq Saafir.
He continued to lay the foundations for the growth of our community through his leadership, knowledge, and care. We could not be where we are today without Imam Ayman. He taught Islam and Qur'an to many of us as well as our children. May Allah grant him continuous rewards from the countless Muslims he taught and guided, and place him in the highest levels of Jannah.
