Open Mosque Day Weekend October 14-16

 

Shura Council’s  Open Mosque Day  was launched in 2002, a year after the 9/11 attacks. This year we are pleased to announce our 20th Anniversary of Open Mosque Day the weekend of Friday, October 14 through Sunday, October 16, 2022. After a two-year hiatus, we are pleased to invite the community to bring your friends, colleagues, and family members to an Open Mosque Day near you. A  list of participating centers  can be found here and will be updated frequently.

Some centers will be hosting their Open Mosque Day on Friday or Sunday instead of on the same weekend. We encourage our member Mosques to  sign up here  to participate in Open Mosque Day Weekend. We will be holding a FREE training for Mosque staff and volunteers on Sunday, October 2 nd. P lease register here  or click on the flyer above.
